The Active Line Plus is designed as an invisible helper in urban traffic and on paved paths. As soon as you start pedalling, you feel gentle, even support up to approximately 25 km/h, which takes you effortlessly to your destination. Above 25 km/h, the motor no longer provides any resistance, so you always retain that “real” cycling feeling. Weighing around 3.2 kg, your Aeres bike remains light and manoeuvrable, ideal for sharp turns, starting and stopping. In practice, you will notice that the assistance is particularly active at a gentle pedalling frequency, the rhythm at which many city rides and shopping trips take place. This ensures a smooth start at every traffic light and a comfortable ride in which you only have to focus on the road and not on the effort you have to put in. This motor can be found on the Aeres Antwerp, our elegant city bike built for comfort, reliability and effortless riding pleasure.

Performance Line SX: sporty lightness

If you want to stay in control and occasionally explore unpaved paths, the Performance Line SX is the perfect choice. This motor really comes into its own at higher pedalling frequencies, rewarding you for pedalling faster with a boost of up to 600 W peak power. With 55 Nm of torque, you can be sure that steeper sections and gravel paths will feel a lot smoother, without your e-bike feeling like a heavyweight.

A major advantage of the SX is its narrow bottom bracket width, which means your posture remains identical to that of a typical trekking bike. Thanks to its lightweight housing, the unit weighs only about 2 kg, which makes for a playful and manoeuvrable Aeres bike.
